Does PETA work with the government?
As today's GAO report describes, PETA scientists are working with federal agencies to promote the use of non-animal testing methods. PETA urges government agencies to review this report, take action, and stop tormenting animals.
Why you should not support PETA?
1. It promotes euthanasia. Animals spending their lives in shelters is something PETA abhors — it feels that is not solving the problem of homelessness for them, but merely keeping them alive, according to the website. Animals need more than food and water — they need companionship, playtime, and love.
