How do you keep a baby mole alive?
Prepare a hot water bottle filled with water at about body temperature. Test with the thermometer to ensure it is not too hot. Put the bottle in a box, cover it with a towel and put the mole on top. Phone animal services, a local conservation charity or an animal sanctuary.
What do I do with a baby mole I found?
Baby moles stay in their nest for about one month before they leave to forage in tunnels. It would be unusual to find a very young mole out of its underground nest unless the nest has been disturbed.
